Kayla Lucia MA, LMHC, QMHP

Kayla is a RI Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who specializes in mental health and co-occurring issues. She has over 10 years of experience working with adults and families.  She has worked in many different health care settings ranging from community mental health, emergency rooms, hospitals, and substance use treatment centers.  She utilizes evidence-based practices tailored to each patient for an individualized treatment plan.

Kayla is open-minded, non-judgmental, and passionate about reducing the stigma that is often associated with mental health related issues  

Kayla's specialties include depression, anxiety, substance misuse, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, stress reduction, anger management, and gerontology.

Kayla received her Masters degree and Certificate in Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS)  from Rhode Island college in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Kayla also has a Bachelor's degree in psychology and an Associate's degree in substance abuse services.
